SHORTCUTS: ♥♥Custom Fee♥♥Revision Details♥♥Payment Method♥♥Copyright♥♥Commercial Use♥♥
GENERAL
1. Orders will be official when the details are confirmed and the artist says that they will “start on the sketch”2. References are to be provided by the client. The artist will not search for themselves as the internet has vast results to show and determining which the client pertains to will be time consuming. Every detail of the desired appearance must be given reference like the pose and other thing involve.3. The artist has the right to ask for more reference as needed. There is a possibility that the progress of the drawing will stop until the additional references are provided. Failure to do so will result in the object being removed from the drawing.4. The prices given are merely starters and can change depending on any changes that may occur as the commission progresses.5. Changes or revisions are accepted until the colored sketch. Any adjustments (even object resizing) will not be accepted beyond this point. Any color change will only be accepted IF that part is still in flat, but not anymore if it’s already rendered. (See revisions for more details)6. Character designs or customs will add 20-50% on the base character price depending on the difficulty. It is considered a custom if:a. The character that will be drawn does not have an initial design or clear descriptions;
b. The character is just based from certain events or concepts;
c. If the character is derived from an object and the client has little to no specifics on the appearance of the character; or
d. There is any character design process that the artist needs to do7. For additional objects, they are charged if there are no definite reference for the artist to copy. Inspirations from which the artist can derive from are not counted as this will still involve designing a new one. Objects that the artist have difficulty in drawing even with reference will be charged as well. Such objects are:a. Guns
b. vehicles
c. Vehicle parts incorporated to a character
d. Anything that involves machine or mecha elements8. For pieces with multiple characters in it, the one nearest to full body will be charged full while the others will have 30% decreased from their base price. If all of them are of the same level, the character with the highest combined cost (objects, etc.) will be charged full and the rest will have the reduction as stated earlier. If there are no variations on the cost, only one will be charged full and the rest will be discounted accordingly.9. Final output will be sent via email. The client shall receive the high-res version of the artwork.10. The client will receive updates from the artist as much as possible. Updates shall not exceed more than 5 days in interval.11. As much as possible, the client will be provided a watermarked screenshot of the progress during updates.
12. COUPLE ART ISSUE - I stopped accepting in-real life couple arts because I saw a very disturbing pattern: couples that are the main subject of my work tends to break up either after the art or during. I know it might be just a crazy coincidence but i still feel bad since it happened more then 2 times. Although I won't do IRL couple art, I will still accept fictional couples, even oc x canon or self x character !!13. In any case a commission is cancelled, BASED on the progress of the art upon cancelling, a certain amount will be requested. NO full refund will be accepted as during this time, at the very least, the sketch was done and finalized.
In cases that a full payment was done, the artist will be delighted to send back the amount of UNFINISHED progress.
Additional fees for customs
20% - simple human OC/ outfit design30% -human OC in a complex setting. In which the commissioned art is a scene but the character involved will be designed by the artist. Which involves two parts: designing the character as well as the full artwork.40% - kemonomimi-like OCs/characters.
------characters with 1 non-human parts (wings area pair so it's counted as one)
50% - hybrid characters with complicated body parts or with mixed parts more than kenomimi-type level. Or in any situation that the artist needs to double check with research on anatomy to draw the body part more properly.NOTE: The artist, Gaia Bara, shall decide which percentage will be used as it depends on their capacity. These descriptions are just for transparency. Different artists have different strengths and adjustments on what they can draw so please do not compare this with other artist's.
REVISIONS
The artist shall show progress every phase of the work and changes shall be discussed accordingly. The client must state any change as early as possible as there will be restrictions on revisions.1. Overall revisions like changing the pose, the expression, clothing details, additional accessories, how the extra object appears, and others that involve line work are free of charge during sketch phase.2. Any sort of revision during colored sketch phase, as stated in #1 shall be charged starting at $5-15 depending on the difficulty/amount. Colored sketch phase is mainly for discussion on the colors to be used.3. Any major changes on details, poses, and the likes that involved line work will not be accepted beyond colored sketch phase.4. Color changes during colored sketch are acceptable and free of charge.5. Color changes beyond colored sketch will only be fine and be only accepted if the color has not been applied or has not been rendered (shaded) yet.6. In any case that a change that will affect the line art or any nearly finished area is greatly desired, there will be a fine starting at $20-up depending on the difficulty and amount of change needed to be done.♥♦♥♦♥♦♥♦♥♦♥♦♥♦
SKETCH LIMIT VS REVISION
Sketch Limit is basically for conceptual drawings. A lot of times, descriptions can cause a number of composition ideas and to be on the safer side, the artist will draw these ideas and let the client choose their best bet. It is considered a conceptual drawing if:1. it is a full drawing, with a character and a background which is different from the overall composition of the other sketches2. it is a character design commission and the artist must do more clothes design and overall design on a character.3. it is any other changes on a sketch that causes at least 50% of the overall composition to be redone.
Revision on the other hand is just small changes on a chosen sketch/composition. Or in color and lineart (if you're up for the fees) which does not change the whole composition of a sketch. Revisions are mainly accepted during sketch phase. Color changes are accepted during colored sketch phase. Any other changes beyond those phases will cause fees*
PAYMENT (REGULAR COMMISSIONS)
1. Payments will be asked for after the sketch is confirmed by the client.2.Payments can be done either half or full upfront.3. Payments via paypal will be done via invoice so clients will need to provide their paypal email. Progress will halt unless payment is done after sketch4. Payments via GCash or Paymaya must be sent by the client with the message describing the commission.5. Artwork will be sent via email after full payment is confirmed by the artist. The artist's time zone is UTC+8 so please be mindful of the time you send the payment. If the response is greatly delayed, the artist may be asleep.6. For half upfront payments, please pay the other half via the same invoice the artist sent. Per agreement of the half upfront payment, partial payment for the invoice will be allowed.7. Tips are non-refundableNOTE: Watermark will appear on artwork during consultation until full payment is given
PAYMENT (CUSTOM)
It is hard to design characters without including the colors right from the start. Especially for cases that multiple designs must be presented (i.e. clients needing help in deciding or unsure what they want, vague ideas or no final image in mind, hence the artist shall experiment until the client is satisfied). For such cases, the following rules on payment shall apply:1. Payment is done via invoice (Paypel) or with message if via GCash/Paymaya
2.Half of payment is expected after the first batch of designs.
3. The rest of the payment shall be given when the design is finalized and polished. The payment shall arrive first before the artist will send the high-res image of the artwork.NOTE: Watermark will appear on artwork during consultation until full payment is given
